Next Winner of Survivor Tocantins Could Be Coach
March 3rd, 2009 Filed under: Uncategorized — Movie CriticWe viewed the realty TV show Survivor Tocantins, 2nd episode, and I would like to go out on a limb here and predict that Benjamin (Coach) can win this game.
First of all, his tribe called the Timbira, had already put a plan together for voting off Sierra next if they were to loose their Challenge to the Jalapao Tribe, and give up their immunity idol. But no, Coach wants to stir the pot and mix things up a bit.
So we that the Timbira tribe now has fire in the 2nd episode, and they are getting ready to eat after starving for 3 days. But what does Coach do? He argues with Candace about how the rice and beans should be cooked. He tells her that rice will soak up all the water in the pot, so if you put the beans in with them, the beans won’t get cooked well. And Candace said we only have one pot, so why wait? Then Coach decides to drive his opinion down further, which is upsetting Candace. Now, Coach could have backed off, but it appeared as if he was having fun with this.
Later on, Coach made an effort to make up with Candace. We could tell he was putting her on because he was apologizing and flirting at the same time. He has turned out to be quite the actor!
Candace tells us later that she thinks Coach has an ego as big as Brazil. Even though he apologized, she just couldn’t let go of it. She had to go around the camp and trash mouth Coach behind his back. What was she thinking? Did she not know that this would get back to Coach?
Well, it certainly did get back to Coach. And being a strong player, he decided to use his gift of manipulation on his tribe. He went around and secretly told everyone that Candace was a snake in the grass. Coach got everyone to agree to vote her off at tribal council. Brilliant strategy and definitely shows strong leadership abilities in Coach. Plus, he is just evil enough to be able to pull a win for this season’s Survivor Tocantins! Time will only tell.
