One of the largest fictional brands in the beer franchise that has managed to take the world by storm is the infamous Duff range of beer that has been made popular by the longtime animated sitcom – The Simpsons. It is Homer Simpson’s preferred beer of choice where he is seen in almost every episode glugging down his favored refreshment. In the animated world of beer, there have been numerous varieties ranging from Duff Beer, Duff Light and Duff Dry. Homer and his buddy Barney generally enjoy this refreshment at the local Moe’s Bar.

In the real world, Duff Beer has been one of the parodies that have conceptualized the Daleside Brewery. The Daleside Brewery has been over the years creating and formulating some of the stiffest and strongest Beers known today. The segment of Duff Beers was first featured in The Simpsons when Homer’s children Bart and Lisa stroll off into the Duff Gardens. The Duff Beers have been again conceptualized to be a parody of the Duff Gardens where they invariably involve the Busch Gardens.

It was first featured on the sitcom in 1990 in the episode “Some Enchanting Evening”. Since then, Duff Beer has grown to become one of the most popular names in animation entertainment where they have created a brand name which has many breweries across the United States and Germany fighting for claiming its rights. At the Universal Studios, the birthplace of “The Simpsons”, The Duff Energy Drink can be found. It is also available with Micro Center, a US Electronics Dealership.
