Gossip Girl Season 3 Premiere – Reversals of Fortune

And…we’re finally back Gossip Girl Fans, and “Reversals of Fortune”, was well worth the wait. Gossip Girl graced us with a recap of season 2 highlights. So what did this long awaited and highly anticipated season 3 premiere episode bring us-aside from the crazy new music from Gossip Girl that we not only expect but demand? DRAMA!

It’s not looking too good for Chuck and Blair. Chuck is off in a bar flirting with a blonde who is all too anxious to check out his limo-poor Blair! Chuck is totally playing her! Or is he? These two are still playing games, but it’s all in the name of keeping their relationship spicy. Chuck plays the cheating bastard and Blair plays the scorned woman. This seems like a disaster in the making, and we’ll soon find out who is playing the game and who is being played.

The Vanderbilt annual polo match sets the stage for most of this Gossip Girl Episode. The whole gang is now home. Serena’s non-ashram, European exploits remain a delicious mystery and her celeb status earns her the privilege of throwing the first ball at the polo match. To add to the spirit of the afternoon, maybe Carter Baizen will throw something her way as well.

A super tanned Vanessa attends the match with her new bff Scott. Nate is in a Romeo-Juliet romance/rivalry, which helps in his quest to break loose from his grandfather. But his date, Bree, doesn’t seem to be in on the plan. She is totally p.o.’d! Grandfather seems good-natured but might really be a grandmaster schemer.
