My Bloody Valentine 3D – Not For the Faint of Heart
February 10th, 2009 Filed under: Uncategorized — Movie CriticMy Bloody Valentine 3D as far as remakes go is not the exact carbon copy of the original. Which is good for people who are old enough to have seen it back in the 80′s. It has a good story line and plot with a few twists and of course some really great killing scenes.
It really makes you have to think who is the killer and not just tell you who it is from the beginning. It’s about a escaped miner who had killed several miners after a cave in and is the only survivor. He goes back to the mine and kills several kids having a party there. A few escape thanks to the sheriff and then he is shot but still gets away.
Then the story goes on from there ten years later. I will not ruin the whole movie for those that have not seen it yet but there are some genuinely frightening scenes. It is a very good movie compared to the other horror movies that are out there and you should check it out. If horror movies are your favorite genre then this movie would be worth your while. I have seen a lot of horror movies in my lifetime and this movie still made me jump a couple of times.
It has some good actors as well like Jensen Ackles from Supernatural not no names that can’t act. With all the advancements in movie making these days I believe they made every possible effort to give you a great movie for your money.
